A replacement pinion casing shaft seal for the Renault Clio 172 182 steering rack. The pinion casing seal prevents steering rack fluid from leaking past the pinion shaft where it exits the rack casing. A failed or worn pinion seal is one of the most common causes of steering rack fluid loss on the Clio 172/182 and should be replaced as a matter of course during any steering rack rebuild or refurbishment.
